If you get one of these with no standby light and a chirping p.s.u that trips off
Change C817 (100uF cap). all will be restored

If you get one of these with no standby light and a chirping p.s.u that trips off - It is actually worth checking and changing all the 100uF capacitors in and around the area of the oscillator IC (TDA4601) and the chopper transistor
I found there were many worn out capacitors and had to change more than half a dozen. Another vulnerable one is the 1uF, 250V cap near the LOPT. Now I have fixed the set there is no sound!

Int blank raster with flyback lines
if ok when connector TD203 on the text pcb is disconnected check the 27Mhz crystal TZ01 for failure
