Drum speed varies and eject slow
Check the 5v regulator TT52 (BD435) on the main pcb

Erases pre recorded tapes
Check the record supply transistor TW56 (BC585B) for failure

Locks up going from ff to play or play to stop
This was due to the servo ctl reset chip IT46 (U2559B)

No display or mechanism op (no 5v to micro)
Check for dry joints on transistor TT52

No functions, 5v logic supply low at 4.5V
Replace IT46 (U2559B) servo control (Pt no. 70010170)

Only receives channels below 43
The 33v tuning voltage at test point BP08 was found to be low at only 13v, replaced the tuning voltage regulator DP04 (ZTK33B)

Check back up battery XK03 (2.4v) on the key display pcb

Slow deck functions and cutting out
Replace zener diodes DP08 and DP07 in the power supply

Check / replace CN77 (2.2uF,50v) in the base circuit of the 5v switching transistor TN81

Will not accept cassette, no capstan rotation
Check TT68 (BC557) for open circuit
